FAQs
Rhino Waste & Recycling, Inc
How do I order a dumpster?
To order a dumpster, please contact us via phone or use the contact tab on our website. We'll need the delivery address, type of material you're disposing of, placement instructions, and payment method. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Please note that cash payments may require an additional deposit to cover potential overages, which will be refunded if unused. How are dumpsters priced?
Our dumpsters are priced per haul or dump. Each emptying incurs a charge. The price includes a specific tonnage allowance based on the dumpster size you select. A complimentary rental period is also included in the base price. How much lead time do I need to give you?
We generally request a 24-hour notice for dumpster orders. Orders placed before 10 am may be completed the same day if possible, but this isn't guaranteed during our peak seasons in spring and summer. For estimated arrival times, please contact our office or email rhinowaste@gmail.com.How long can I keep the dumpster?
The rental duration is determined by the size and type of your project. We'll agree on a suitable timeframe with you when you place your order. Can I fill the dumpster over the top?
Overfilling the dumpster is not permitted as we need to be able to tarp it for transportation. If we arrive and can't haul the dumpster due to overloading, you'll be responsible for leveling the contents and may incur a dry run fee if we can't service the dumpster. What cannot go into the dumpsters?
We prohibit hazardous waste, chemicals, radioactive materials, paints, aerosol cans, propane tanks, motor oils, tires, asbestos, railroad ties, and food waste in our dumpsters. If these items are found, you'll be charged additional fees for their removal and disposal. Can I order a dumpster for brush/yard debris?
Yes, we offer dumpsters for yard debris. However, it's crucial that you only dispose of yard waste. Mixing in garbage or construction debris is not allowed. If we find mixed materials, we'll empty the dumpster on-site and you'll need to separate the waste. A 'dry run' fee will also apply in this case. Can I order a dumpster for concrete/brick/block/asphalt?
Yes, we provide dumpsters for concrete, brick, block, and asphalt. It's essential that you only dispose of these materials. If other waste is mixed in, we'll treat it as commercial waste and dispose of it at the landfill, resulting in additional tonnage fees. We'll require a credit card on file to cover potential extra weight before emptying the dumpster at the landfill.Do you take refrigerators or freezers?
We do not accept refrigerators or freezers in our dumpsters. If we find these items during emptying, you'll be charged an extra fee and will need to collect the item from our facility. Will the dumpster damage my driveway?
The metal wheels of our dumpsters may scratch your driveway's surface. To prevent this, you can place plywood where you want the dumpster positioned, and our driver will put it under the wheels. Please note that we're not liable for cracking, crumbling, or collapsing driveways. It's the homeowner's responsibility to ensure driveway stability. If you're unsure, please contact us for alternative placement options. What happens if my dumpster goes over the allowed tonnage?
This can possibly be avoided by making sure you’re using the correct size dumpsters (different sizes have different weight limits). Also, the bigger and heavier the items are, it can take up a lot of the tonnage. However, if it does go over the allowed tonnage, there is a per-ton charge for anything over the allowed tonnage. Can I keep the dumpster for longer than the initial rental period?
Yes. Please keep in mind there is a rental fee for extra days. The card on file will automatically be charged once per week for the rental fees. If we do not have a card on file, you will have to pay the rental fees before picking up.What if I forget to schedule a pickup?
We do not automatically schedule a pickup. It is the customer’s responsibility to let us know the dumpster is no longer needed. This information we have no way of knowing. You are responsible for all fees incurred. What if it rains while I have the dumpster and it adds weight to the contents?
Rhino Waste is not responsible for any extra weight due to Mother Nature and things we cannot control. The customer is responsible for the weight of the box, no matter what happens with the weather. What if my neighbor throws something in the dumpster that is not allowed? Will I be charged?
Yes! You are responsible for the dumpster and its contents until we remove it from your property. The customer will pay any fees related to such items. What if my dumpster catches a fire or someone starts a fire in the dumpster on my property?
Again, the dumpster is your responsibility while in your possession. You will be liable for any damages to the dumpster and will pay any associated fees.
